The National Youth Development Agency (NYDA) welcomes the new Minister and Deputy Minister for Performance, Monitoring and Evaluation in the Presidency, Minister Jeff Radebe and Deputy Minister Buti Manamela. This comes after the President of the Republic announced his new Cabinet and introduced to the media and to the public today.

According to the NYDA Executive Chairperson Yershen Pillay, “The NYDA reports directly to the Presidency through the ministry for Performance, Monitoring and Evaluation and we look forward to a long and fruitful working relationship with both the Minister and Deputy Minister in the Presidency. We will work together with new ministers to drive meaningful and sustainable youth development. The President could not have chosen a better executive for matters of youth development. Well experienced, dynamic and passionate. Young people should watch the space, this government is serious about youth development. Furthermore we also welcome the appointment of Buti Manamela as the new Deputy Minister to whom the NYDA now reports. We are confident that the new Deputy Minister will prioritise matters of youth development being a young minister who has always been passionate and highly committed to improving the lives of young people. He will most certainly inspire the NYDA to achieve even greater heights.”
